Anglian Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join a well-established social housing maintenance contractor based in Duxford.

This is an excellent temp-to-perm opportunity offering long-term stability, career progression and the chance to join a growing and reputable business within the social housing sector.

The Role

As Electrical Supervisor, you will oversee electrical works across social housing properties, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and to a high standard.

You will manage a team of electricians carrying out:

* Reactive maintenance

* Planned maintenance

* EICRs and remedial works

* Consumer unit upgrades

* Kitchen and bathroom rewires

* Void property refurbishments

This is a hands-on supervisory role combining technical oversight, compliance management and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities

* Supervising and supporting a team of electricians

* Carrying out site visits and quality inspections

* Signing off completed works and ensuring compliance with BS7671

* Overseeing EICR programmes and remedial works

* Managing health and safety on site (RAMS, toolbox talks, audits)

* Liaising with tenants, clients and contract managers

* Monitoring productivity and ensuring KPIs are achieved

* Supporting with material ordering and job scheduling

Requirements

* Fully qualified Electrician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)

* 18th Edition (BS7671)

* 2391 Inspection and Testing (or equivalent)

* SSSTS or SMSTS preferred

* Previous supervisory experience within social housing maintenance

* Strong knowledge of EICRs and remedial programmes

* Full UK Driving Licence
