Site Manager

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Site Manager with a strong background in housing to oversee a new residential development in Edwinstowe. This is an excellent opportunity to join a respected contractor and play a key role in delivering high‑quality homes on time, on budget, and to the highest safety standards. This role is a freelance position.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage day‑to‑day site operations for a housing development

* Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and on‑site staff

* Ensure works are completed to specification, quality standards, and programme

* Maintain all site health & safety documentation and compliance

* Carry out site inspections, progress reports, and quality checks

* Resolve issues quickly to keep works on schedule

* Liaise with clients, project managers, and senior leadership

Requirements

* Proven experience as a Site Manager within the housing sector

* Strong knowledge of residential construction processes

* SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certifications

* Excellent organisational, communication, and leadership skills

* Ability to manage multiple trades and maintain a safe working environment

* Problem‑solving mindset and commitment to delivering high‑quality work
