Rate: £220–£240 per day (CIS)
Duration: Ongoing / Long-Term Contract

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Assistant Site Manager to join a live social housing refurbishment scheme in Oxfordshire delivering a multi-measure retrofit programme.

The scheme includes:

External Wall Insulation (EWI)

*

Solar PV panel installations

*

Associated energy efficiency and fabric upgrades

*

Works to occupied residential properties

This is a hands-on site-based role supporting the Site Manager with daily operations, subcontractor management, and resident liaison to ensure safe, high-quality delivery.

Key Responsibilities

*

Assist in the day-to-day management of site operations

*

Supervise subcontractors carrying out EWI and Solar PV installations

*

Ensure works are delivered safely, on programme and to specification

*

Monitor quality and compliance with retrofit standards

*

Conduct site inductions, toolbox talks, and maintain H&S documentation

*

Support programme tracking and daily reporting

*

Liaise with residents to minimise disruption and maintain positive relationships

*

Coordinate materials, deliveries, and logistics

Requirements

*

Proven experience as an Assistant Site Manager or strong Site Supervisor experience

*

Background in social housing refurbishment or residential retrofit

*

Knowledge of EWI and/or Solar PV installations

*

Experience working in occupied properties

*

SMSTS or SSSTS

*

CSCS (Black or Gold preferred)

*

First Aid at Work

*

Strong communication and organisational skills

Desirable

*

PAS 2030 / retrofit knowledge

*

Experience on SHDF or decarbonisation schemes

*

NVQ Level 4+ in Construction Site Supervision or Management
