A principal contractor are on the lookout for a commercially sharp Quantity Surveyor to take the lead on a £2m hotel fit out project near Aldgate.
 
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a contractor delivering high-quality refurbishment and fit out schemes, with real autonomy on site and direct input into project success.
 
The Role

You’ll be the commercial lead on the project, working closely with the site team and directors to ensure everything stacks up — on paper and in practice.
 
Responsibilities will include:

Full commercial management of the £2m hotel fit out
Procurement and subcontractor management
Cost reporting and forecasting
Variations, valuations and final accounts
Managing cash flow and protecting margin 
What They’re Looking For 

Proven experience as a QS on fit out or refurbishment projects
Comfortable running projects in the £1m–£5m range
Strong subcontractor procurement and negotiation skills
