Job Title: Senior Quantity Surveyor
Location: Liverpool, England (hybrid role with a car provided)
Turner Lovell are recruiting a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join an £1billion + turnover EPC Contractor in the electricity and renewable energy sector, who are currently delivering end‑to‑end services across electricity transmission & distribution, renewable energy, and EV infrastructure.
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you'll support the project team with planning, design and installation activities and will focus on delivering safe, high‑quality and sustainable EV projects by installing reliable charging stations and integrating them into the wider energy network.
Key Responsibilities
Support construction managers, designers, planners and electricians with surveys, design, planning and installation activities.
Manage commercial processes and ensure compliance with company procedures.
Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders through clear, regular communication.
Handle client needs, questions and escalations in a professional manner.
Support systems and processes that maintain a sustainable and commercially viable pipeline of work, aligned with agreed SLAs.
Collaborate closely with internal teams and subcontractors, including SHEQ and Operational teams, to ensure project requirements are met.
Skills & Knowledge Requirements:
A background in Civils or Utilities and strong NEC experience is essential.
Evident previous experience form the Senior QS role.
Experience working with commercial or financial management systems.
Proven ability to manage subcontractors, including procurement, coordination and performance oversight.
Practical understanding of NEC forms of contract.
Awareness of CDM Regulations and commitment to high standards of health and safety compliance.
