About the Role

An ambitious and growing main contractor is looking for a junior, developing Design Coordinator to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in construction design coordination while working on a variety of high-profile residential and commercial projects.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate design information between internal teams, consultants, and subcontractors.

Support preparation and review of project drawings, schedules, and documentation.

*

Track design revisions and maintain accurate records.

*

Ensure compliance with planning conditions, building regulations, and project requirements.

*

Attend design meetings and assist senior team members with reporting.

*

Contribute to improving design coordination processes.

Candidate Requirements

*

Degree in Architecture, Building Surveying, Construction Management, or equivalent.

*

Some experience in a construction or design environment is advantageous.

*

Strong organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

*

Proficiency in Microsoft Office; knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, or other design software is a plus.

*

Positive, proactive attitude with a willingness to learn.

*

Flexible to travel across Essex, London, and Stansted.
