Regional Commercial Manager – Germany

We are working with an International Main Contractor who are a key player in the European Data Centre and Technology market. They are seeking a German Speaking Regional Commercial Manager to lead commercial strategy and delivery across Germany.

This person will be responsible for driving profitability, managing commercial risk, and supporting business growth across major projects and regional operations. You will work closely with project teams, senior leadership, and external stakeholders to ensure commercial excellence and contractual compliance throughout the project lifecycle.

Your Role

* Oversee contract management, variations, claims, and dispute resolution

* Lead and manage commercial activities across regional projects

* Develop and implement commercial strategies to maximise revenue and margin

* Provide commercial leadership and mentorship to regional commercial teams

* Monitor project financial performance, forecasts, and cost controls

* Manage client and subcontractor commercial relationships

* Ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements

* Support business development and bid strategies within the region

Experience Required

* Proven experience in a senior commercial role within Mission Critical construction projects

* Strong understanding of contracts (e.g., NEC, FIDIC, or similar)

* Demonstrated leadership and stakeholder management skills

* Strong financial and commercial acumen

* Ability to operate strategically while maintaining hands-on project oversight

* Fluent in German and English (spoken and written)

* Willingness to travel within Germany as required
