We are working with a well-established professional construction consultancy seeking an experienced Employer’s Agent to join their growing team. This role offers the chance to work across high-profile residential, mixed-use, regeneration and infrastructure projects throughout the Bristol, Somerset and Wiltshire regions.
The successful candidate will play a key role in representing clients throughout the development process, delivering high standards of project control, cost management, quality assurance and stakeholder coordination from inception through completion.
About the Role:
As Employer’s Agent, you will act as the client’s trusted representative on construction and development programmes. You will provide expert oversight and commercial control, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in line with client objectives.
Key responsibilities include:

Representing the client’s interests throughout project delivery
*
Coordinating design teams, contractors and specialists
*
Managing programmes, procurement and contractual frameworks
*
Monitoring project costs, change control and value engineering
*
Producing and presenting reports on progress, commercial status and risks
*
Advising on buildability, sustainability and statutory compliance
*
Engaging proactively with local authorities, funders and stakeholders
*
Acting as the primary technical point of contact for client teams
You will contribute to a collaborative professional services team that supports clients ranging from housing associations and public sector bodies to private developers and joint ventures.
About You:
We are looking for a candidate who brings:

Proven experience as an Employer’s Agent, Employer’s Representative or similar client-facing project role
*
Strong understanding of UK construction procurement, contracts and project governance
*
Demonstrable ability to manage multi-discipline teams and reporting structures
*
Excellent commercial awareness and cost management capability
*
Confidence engaging with clients, consultants and contractors
*
Prior involvement in residential, mixed-use, regeneration or infrastructure-led schemes
*
Strong organisational, communication and coordination skills
*
Ability to manage competing priorities and complex workstreams
