Quantity Surveyor

This well-established commercial builder has become a leader in delivering specialist commercial projects ranging from £1m to £25m. With a strong reputation for quality and long-standing relationships with blue-chip clients, the majority of their work comes through repeat business, providing a stable and consistent pipeline of projects.

Due to planned growth, they are now looking to appoint a Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team. This is a full-time, office-based role in Glasgow.

The Role

You'll play a key part in the commercial management of projects, working closely with site teams and senior management to drive performance and ensure projects are delivered within budget. Your responsibilities will include:

Full commercial management of projects
Procurement and management of subcontractor packages
Valuations, variations, and final accounts
Liaising with site and project teams to optimise commercial outcomes
Reporting to senior commercial management
About You

Proven experience within general contracting
Ideally 34 years' post-graduate experience (less considered for right person candidates)
Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent qualification
Strong commercial and contractual knowledge
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
